Introducing SPECIAL 3 core Pre 1990 Race/Road, a high-performance radiator with upgraded features designed for optimal cooling. This radiator comes with 3 inline tubes and large V shape fins, similar to those which were used by some Cooper S Historic Classic race cars. With either 7 V shape or 14 fins/gills, this 3 core radiator is built for high performance. Unlike the standard Radiator build for 850cc engines, this 3 core Radiator has 3 large oval shape in line tubes, making it a top choice for race and road applications. Please note that this radiator does not have a drain hole or facility for a fan switch, so it's important to consider compatibility with your vehicle's needs. 
More espensive to produce than the 2 core Radiator but slightly better overall with same top tank. On the road seems equal to the 2 core type Radiator but seems to have a much better heat dispensation when engine is turned off or just idling by not boiling over or loosing water and holding pressue when used with 15lb rad cap. The fins allow more air through when stationary. If your engine still continues to overheat check the water pump for cavitation as caused on all non genuine water pumps and it is always a good idea to fit an electric fan if your engine is well tuned. If you have the radiator out of your car it also makes sense to change to a new evolution type lightweight water pump which comes with 3 year warranty and also changine to a new fan belt will be wise.
