Genuine, fitted from 1974 until the introduction of injection. First fitted to 1275GT in 1974 with 12" wheels and to all Mini saloons from 1980 onwards.
7.5 gallons or 34 litres capacity and the tank is retained by the single strap across the centre.
Sender unit fixing is twist and turn type. The neck does not have the restrictor in it for lead free nozzle but it is the only petrol fuel tank available for pre-injection Mini cars and works on all types of Classic Mini cars.
