Originally for cars from 1996 on with depth of 16.3mm this better quality item will fit all minis but the 18mm deep type is corrrect for earlier cars with the original lucas half inner metal bowl. This has all the lugs to universally cover all earlier type headlamps such as those with inner metal retaining body which had the adjuster lugs on, or the later plastic bowl type either lucas or aftermarket.
